Five new dining options are coming to Disney Springs and we cannot wait
By Megan DuBois
Disney Springs has become a hot spot for unique Disney treats and eats. This fall even more options are coming for guests to enjoy!
August is a busy time at Walt Disney World for food. It brings the start of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, the opening of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, and Halloween food to the parks and resorts.
But if you’re looking for something outside of the parks at Disney Springs there’s going to be quite a few new options coming soon! Two of the five new dining options at Disney Springs will be open later this month and ready to serve guests with a sweet tooth.
The first is Sunshine Churro, which also has a location at the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort. There will be two locations for the churro carts, on at the Marketplace and one on the West Side.
Sunshine Churro is known for their variations of classic and gourmet churro flavors including watermelon and strawberry cheesecake. For an added sugar rush you can get your churros dipped in milk chocolate or chocolate-hazelnut spread.
Also coming to the West Side of Disney Springs is a new food truck, Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet. The food truck is going to be parked near the other food trucks at Disney Springs just past Candy Cauldron. If you love cookie dough as much as we do you’re going to want to check this one out. Two of the options for you to enjoy are the Minnie Mouse Taco and the Celebration Parfait. Both look amazing, but if that’s too much sugar for you then maybe just a scoop of one of their six flavors including peanut butter fluff and cold brew will do the trick.

The West Side is getting even more sweet goodness with the second location of Ample Hills opening at Disney Springs. If you’ve ever been to Ample Hills at The BoardWalk then you know how great their ice cream is. We love that they are opening a new location at Disney Springs because it’s going to be way easier to get ice cream without having to con the security guard at the front of BoardWalk to let us in to the resort to park.

City Works Eatery and Pour House is still on track to open this winter on Disney Springs West Side. The restaurant is going to be housed in the same building as the new NBA Experience. City Works is going to be serving traditional American faire while guests can enjoy local beers and watch a sports game on one of their giant tv’s.

Lastly, Beatrix, a new dining concept for Disney Springs has been announced, but no opening date or time frame has been told. The restaurant will be owned by Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises and it’s their first restaurant in Florida.
The idea is that Beatrix is your neighborhood restaurant. They are part coffeehouse, part grab-and-go, part bakery, part bar, and part full service restaurant. There are going to be plenty of vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan options for diners who want healthy food in a modern and comfort filled way.
