Disney Springs is celebrating the flavors of Florida this summer

Disney Springs has become one of the hottest dining destinations in central Florida! This summer they are celebrating all things Florida.

When guests walk into Disney Springs they are greeted with the magic of Disney and the feeling of old Florida charm in a way that only Disney can bring. As you walk around Disney Springs you’ll notice a plethora of dining options from pizza to more high-end steak and seafood restaurants.

This summer Disney Springs bringing the flavors of Florida to over 20 of their restaurants with a self-guided food tour: Disney Springs Flavors of Florida.

All you need to do is grab a guide at any of the participating venues or the Disney Springs Welcome Center (Guest Relations). The guide will let you know what restaurants are participating and what the food and drink offerings that are part of the Flavors of Florida.

While there are plenty of options and really something for every palette, we’ve picked out five of the best looking options for you to consider next time you go to Disney Springs.

Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar

Over at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar you can try Fountain of Youth Chicken Wings. These chicken wings are served with St Augustine Datil Pepper Sauce for a spicy kick!

If you want a fun drink to go with your wings, you’re going to want to try the Florida Rain, which is made with orange vodka, gin, coconut rum, blue curaçao, and sour mix.

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’

For a true southern taste of Florida heat head to Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’. They are featuring a Key West shrimp cocktail. The dish is made of seasoned shrimp hand tossed with avocado, mango, cucumber, and house-made cocktail sauce and served with buttermilk crackers.

To drink be sure to order the Blood Orange Madras, which is made with blood orange moonshine, freshly muddled strawberries, pineapple purée, and cranberry juice!

Polite Pig

The Polite Pig is a favorite of ours for their amazing bbq. For the Flavors of Florida tour they are serving up a smoked prime rib slider, which is prime rib served with a citrus aïoli and a green papaya horseradish slaw!

To drink you can get a Florida Mango Frosé, which features fresh mango purée, sparkling rosé and citrus.

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill

Celebrity Chef Wolfgang Puck recently opened Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill at Disney Springs, and it’s already a hit. If you’re looking for a place to hang out get a great cheese course the restaurant is serving local buratta that’s made in Pompeo Beach, Florida served with prosciutto, arugula, fresh peaches, and basil pesto!

Amorette’s Patisserie

To wrap everything up you should get something sweet. Amorette’s Patisserie is creating some of the most beautiful desserts at Walt Disney World and for the Flavors of Florida they have created a Blood Orange Mousse that features a lemon chiffon cake with grapefruit gelée. It’s just as tasty as it is Instagrammable.
