The all-day breakfast menu has become a restaurant staple. People no longer believe that a specific time of day should dictate what they can and they cannot eat. Tasty food doesn’t come with a timer.
Building on this idea, Denny’s, which is open 24/7, is now offering Sirloin Steak & Eggs. This menu item includes a “USDA choice sirloin steak, crispy hash browns and two fresh eggs.” The menu item costs $8.99.
This meal is definitely for the hearty appetite. Whether you are looking to fuel the start to your day or wanting to unwind after a long day, this meal will definitely curb any hunger.
Also, it is nice that Denny’s went back to a simple, classic dish. The combination of steak and eggs is always a good choice. In some ways, the streamlined dish offers a nice juxtaposition to other new menu offerings.
This new menu offering is another example of restaurant group expanding its menu choices. While people always enjoy eggs, pancakes and other traditional diner fare, new menu items keep things exciting.
According to the restaurant group, “78% of Denny’s menu has been updated to reflect new recipes, higher-quality ingredients and more outstanding variety.” This change reflects the brand’s understanding that it needs to evolve to keep its customers invested in visiting the restaurants. While tried and true favorites will always have a place, the quality of those dishes is imperative.
Taking all these items into consideration, it will be curious to see what is next for the restaurant brand. Will they add another classic dish or try something totally outside of the box. Everyone will have to wait and see.
