Only four chefs remaining in MasterChef Season 10. With London still calling, which chef will impress the lovely Nigella Lawson?

As MasterChef Season 10 reaches its final episodes, these four remaining chefs definitely need to impress some distinguished palates. In this week’s episode, adaptability, resourcefulness and creativity will all be needed to stand out in the field.

According to FOX, this week’s MasterChef episode, “London Calling, pt. 2” features the following synopsis:

"The Top Four chefs face their most daunting challenge yet as they compete in the MASTERCHEF semifinal. Still in London, the chefs travel to the beautiful and historic Hatfield House where they must cook for both the MASTERCHEF judges and for British cooking royalty, Nigella Lawson. The chef-testants are given just 60 minutes to cook a finale-worthy venison dish. Then, with only 30 minutes remaining, the judges throw a surprise twist at the home cooks, forcing them to think quick on their feet. Find out which three contestants earn their well-deserved spots in the Season 10 finale in the all-new “London Calling – Pt. 2” episode of MASTERCHEF airing Wednesday, September 11."

Cooking a scrumptious venison dish will take quite a lot of skill. When cooked properly, venison can be absolute perfection. If overcooked and under-seasoned, the dish can perpetuate that old notion of bad British cuisine.

Venison is quite popular in British cuisine, including home kitchens. The meat has a high protein content and is lean.

While venison can have a slightly gamey-flavor, there are numerous dishes that could work in the 60 minute time-frame. Although a whole loin seems unlikely, a venison steak, medallion or chop seems likely.

This protein can handle bold flavor. Even though the protein has a distinctive flavor, it can stand up to a variety of spices. The home cooks should be bold in their flavor choices.

Still, execution is key to moving onto the MasterChef final three. Even with a twist, the smallest mistake can and will get a favorite turning in his apron.
