Have you started to plan your Halloween baking? Ghoul’s Mix Explosion Pumpkin Cookies are the scarily good treat that is definitely not a trick.
Impress your little ghouls and goblins with these Ghoul’s Mix Explosion Pumpkin Cookies. While everyone might be filling their trick or treat bags with tons of candy, these cookies will impress both visually and taste amazing. Ready to get baking?
This year, M&M’s added its Ghoul Mix to its Halloween candy line-up. The candy is all dressed up for Halloween. While eating a handful of these candies is always delightful, they are quite tasty when incorporated into some cookies.
M&Ms and cookies have been a classic combination. Who hasn’t mixed some of this candy into a sugar cookie or even topped a peanut butter cookie with some M&Ms? But, this cookie recipe is quite different.
The M&M’s Ghoul’s Mix Pumpkin Explosion Cookies look like a dessert from Halloween Baking Championship. While the dessert looks like a professional baker, the cookie recipe is relatively straightforward.
This recipe makes the basic sugar cookie from scratch. While a sugar cookie recipe is doable by most bakers, home bakers can take a shortcut. Using a mix can simplify the process. If you do use a mix, make sure to chill the dough well. The dough needs to be sturdy to hold up to the shape.

Also, use care when rolling out the dough. A Siplat can be helpful to keep the cookie dough from sticking. If the dough gets too warm, just put it back in the refrigerator to firm up a little more.
Lastly, even if the cookies aren’t as picture perfect as the photos, they will still taste yummy. Plus, you can come up with a fun story about a slightly less than perfect pumpkin. Maybe that pumpkin was melted in Stranger Things or maybe the pumpkin was smashed by angry trick or treaters who didn’t get any M&M’s.
Remember, baking is about fun in the kitchen. Even if the final result isn’t Instagram worthy, it will still taste good and the experience was enjoyable. That’s the most important part.
