The Great Food Truck Race preview: We Three Trucks

Who has enough holiday hustle to make The Great Food Truck Race finale? The prize is at the bottom of the hill, but which food truck will race to a win?

Three food trucks remain in The Great Food Truck Race Holiday Hustle. As the winter chill surrounds these teams, the competition is really heating up. Can one team ski their way to victory?

According to the Food Network, this week’s The Great Food Truck Race episode synopsis states:

"Tyler Florence challenges the three food truck teams to tree decorating and tubing down a mountain for the prize of choosing their protein for the day. Then, the teams race for sales at a Killington, Vermont, ski resort before heading to Rutland, where they vie to win and move on to the next round."

The key to success for the food trucks will be the choice of protein. Although this synopsis doesn’t state why type of proteins, this challenge will make or break the whole episode. One bad protein can spoil the bunch.

It will be interesting to see if the food trucks cater their menu to a ski resort. From apres ski to specific demographics, careful menu planning could earn a food truck a spot in the finale. Again, being a great food truck is more than just executing tasty food.

This competition has been dominated by Lia’s LUMPIA. Each week they have crushed the competition. It seems almost as if this competition is already in the bag for them. But, then again, anything can happen in this Food Network competition.
