Taco Bell $1 Double Stacked Tacos are back for 2020

Taco Bell is kicking off the new year with big savings. $1 menu offerings are growing and the $1 Double Stacked Tacos are leading the way.

Good food at great prices has made Taco Bell a fan favorite. Whether it is grabbing a 10 pack of tacos to share with friends or a quick bite, value drives many people to pick up their favorite menu items time and again.

To kick off 2020, the brand is offering 21 menu offerings at just $1. Whether you grab a couple or all 21, these value items can make both a difference in your wallet and your hunger.

Melissa Friebe, Senior Vice President, Brand Marketing and Consumer Insights at Taco Bell says that the brand is committed to its $1 menu. Where other brands see their value menus shrinking, Taco Bell is looking to give the consumer what they want. “It’s more important than ever before that we give fans the craveable food they not only want, but can afford, and we’ve built our menu with some of our most innovative items from $1 to $5 to ensure there is something for everyone.”

When the brand began, the core menu items were just 19 cents each. Even in 1962, that value was huge.

As the brand grew, it never lost sight of offering good food at great value. The Cravings Menu has and will continue to be a fan favorite.

One of the exciting announcements to kick off 2020 is the return of the $1 Double Stacked Taco. Available in Nacho Crunch, Chipotle Cheddar and Reaper Ranch, the taco combines a soft tortilla and a crunchy taco. It is having the best of both textures in a single bite.

It is interesting that the Reaper Ranch continues to be a fan favorite. The extreme heat shows that consumers are not shying away from flavor.

In addition to the $1 Double Stacked Tacos, Taco Bell is offering the $5 Chalupa Box. Included in the offer are “one Double Stacked Taco, one Chalupa Supreme and one Crunchy Taco with a medium soft drink.” Again, the brand delivers on value.

To give fans an extra gift this holiday season, the $1 Double Stacked Tacos & $5 Chalupa Box will be available December 26. Definitely a way to save after all that holiday shopping.
