Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back Season 3 premiere preview
Ready for a new season of Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back? Be prepared for a whole new set of kitchen nightmares and questionable smells.
Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back has returned to kick off the New Year with some new restaurant nightmares. While many people might be resolving to eat better, this season’s premiere episode might have people wondering why anyone dines out.
From the commercials, the new season of Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back is going to be savage. As Chef Ramsay screams his displeasure over kitchen cleanliness and horrid smells, one thing is sure. These kitchens are definitely in the depths of restaurant hell. Can Chef Ramsay help these desperate restaurant owners?
According to Fox, Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back Season 3 premiere episode features the following:
"Gordon Ramsay’s “Hell On Wheels” travels to Lowery’s Seafood, located in Tappahannock, VA. Chef Ramsay and his crew find two brothers at odds regarding who is in charge, and a dedicated team confused about where to look for leadership. Ramsay will try to bring this failing restaurant back from the brink of disaster – all in just 24 hours. As the clock ticks down, Ramsay and his team transform this restaurant with a spectacular renovation, a fresh new menu and hope for the future in the all-new “Lowery’s Seafood Restaurant” season premiere episode of GORDON RAMSAY’S 24 HOURS TO HELL AND BACK airing Tuesday, Jan. 7 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (HRS-301) (TV-14 L)"
Looking at the synopsis, one fact could be quite scary. This restaurant is seafood focused. Does anyone remember that old Anthony Bourdain rule – never eat fish at a restaurant on Mondays? After watching this episode, more people might be avoiding seafood restaurants for a while.
Still, another issue is important to this restaurant rescue. A family run business often has other dynamics that can spell trouble. Even in the most harmonious families, power struggles and tensions arise. It can be difficult to separate business and family.
Lastly, this episode says that the restaurant gets a new menu. Adding and taking away menu items keeps a restaurant fresh. Even though a “classic” menu item can hold a special place with diners, any menu must remain fresh. No one wants to see the same tired, boring poached salmon over and over.
