According to the Food Network, this week’s Worst Cooks in America episode, “Chinese New Year” features the following:
"The recruits enter boot camp and see it transformed for a Chinese New Year celebration. First, they play a game where fortune cookie clues lead them to ingredients, and they learn to make fried rice. For the main dish challenge, Anne Burrell and Alton Brown mentor the recruits as they make dumplings, and while some dumplings are great, others are filled with disappointment."
While everyone might have eaten many fried rice, do you know how to make it at home? It will be interesting to see how the recruits handle this challenge. In some ways, this dish is doable by many people.
Watching this cooking lesson, home cooks should pay attention. Making fried rice at home could be a great option. Just think of how this classic dish can become even tastier.
As for the second challenge, making dumplings is an art. Given the difficulty in making dumplings, this challenge could be a kitchen disaster.
