The sample menu includes: “Roasted Red Snapper with Green Tomato Salsa Verde, Lechon with Papaya Pico di Gallo, Drunken Doughnuts with Champagne Raspberry Jam, Yuzu Aguachile with Dragonfruit & Avocado and Liquid Nitrogen Chocolate Mousse.”

While it is best to try each of these dishes, the Lechon with Papaya Pico di Gallo should be the star. Papaya is a lovely twist to a traditional pico de gallo. Plus, the papaya is a perfect pairing to the rich lechon. You might want to get a second plate.
Yuzu Aguachile with Dragonfruit & Avocado will have people discovering the shrimp dish. While traditionally a Mexican dish, the yuzu and dragonfruit offer a totally new approach to this traditional dish.
Since every food festival needs to end on a sweet note, the Drunken Doughnuts with Champagne Raspberry Jam will quickly become the most talked about sweet treat. Can anyone really resist a drunken doughnut?
In addition to this sample menu, many fans will be excited to see Top Chef Cheftestants. Right now, participants include Eric Adjepong, Jennifer Carroll, Stephanie Cmar, Lisa Fernandes, Kevin Gillespie, Jamie Lynch, Brian Malarkey, and Joe Sasto.. More chefs will be announced at a later date.
