Subway and Netflix put a heart on it with Say It With a Sub
Subway understands that sometimes those three little words are hard to say. Why not Say It with a Sub and tell people how you really feel.
For many people, food is love. Subway wants to help everyone share a little love, happiness and subs this month. However, you want to express that someone is important in your life, just Say It With a Sub.
In partnership with Netflix’s To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, the “Say It With a Sub” promotion is not just a kissy, cheesy heart shaped Valentine’s Day moment. It is more about taking a moment to show someone that you are thinking about.
Now through the end of March, everyone can Say It With a Sub by sending a footlong sub (aka a $10 e-gift card) via www.subway.com/sayitwithasub. Whether you have the perfect phrase or need a little poetic inspiration, you can get it all on the website.
To participate in this promotion, it doesn’t have to be that secret crush or that person who makes your heart flutter. You can send a sub to your kid at college with a mushy note to embarrass him. What about sending a sub to your grandma and thank her for all those embarrassing family stories.
Of course, this idea is part of the Netflix promotion, but it can be much more than that movie tie-in. Everyone has a want to feel appreciated. Why can’t a footlong bring that little smile on a tough day.
Plus, since people are sending e-gift cards, you won’t make the mistake of getting the wrong footlong. Buying a meatball marinara when your special someone only likes B.M.T. could make for a very awkward moment.
Subway has always believed that Valentine’s Day and romantic gestures do not have to be those over the top moments. Remember last year’s Sean and Catherine Lowe’s cheesy celebration? Letting someone know that you care doesn’t have to come with a huge price tag.
Will you join Subway and Say It With a Sub? What phrase would you send that person who is special in your life?
