Lay’s new chip flavors are getting snack fans excited with their bold flavors. The newest snacks even have John Legend from The Voice turning his chair to get a taste.

As The Voice premieres a new season, Lay’s new chip flavors might be the perfect snack to enjoy while watching the show. While the singers hit the high notes, Lay’s is hitting all the right notes with these five snacks. From the newest flavors to returning, limited edition flavors, everyone will be turning their chairs around to the snack bowl because they need another handful.

Earlier this year, Lay’s announced three flavors to its line. Those flavors were Lay’s Cheddar Jalapeño, Lay’s Poppables Sea Salt & Vinegar and Lay’s Kettle Cooked Flamin’ Hot. These newest flavors are consistent with snack trends.

The biggest snack trend is spice. Snack fans are wanting bigger, bolder flavors. While Flamin’ has seemed to take over the snack aisle, the Lay’s Kettle Cooked Flamin’ Hot are the boldest yet. Given the kettle cooked method, the Flamin’ Hot flavor is more enhanced. For Flamin’ Hot fans, this chip is the boldest yet.

In a similar light, the Lay’s Cheddar Jalapeño offer a touch of heat to make this chip more satisfying. While not overpowering, the touch of spice at the end enhances the eating experience. Just try pairing these chips with a hamburger or even a chicken sandwich.

Although not a heat factor, the Lay’s Poppables Sea Salt & Vinegar offer a punch of flavor in a lighter way. Since the Poppables are airy, the salt and vinegar flavor comes through but doesn’t overpower. In a way, this snack is probably the easiest to eat a whole bowl in a single sitting.

In addition to these three new flavors, Lay’s is bringing back to extremely popular limited edition flavors, Lay’s Crispy Taco and Lay’s Wavy Fried Green Tomato. These flavors are coming back as part of a promotion with The Voice.

If these flavors sound familiar, they should be. The Crispy Taco was part of the Do Us A Flavor campaign. It was the winning flavor and a huge hit with fans. Also, the Lay’s Wavy Fried Green Tomato chips were part of the same contest.

The return of these two limited edition flavors will have snack fans stocking up. Both of these flavors were huge hits back in 2017. With this special promotion with The Voice and John Legend, it is the best excuse to grab a few extra bags before they are gone.

To get everyone excited about these new flavors, Lay’s partnered with John Legend and The Voice to give snack fans the opportunity to win some amazing prizes. Legend said, “”I’m excited to partner with Lay’s to launch these fun new flavors and to give the wonderful fans of ‘The Voice’ the opportunity to come share in the fun of the live show!”

According to Lay’s, “March 2 through April 17, fans can visit www.LaysAndTheVoice.com to answer a weekly trivia question pertaining to each week’s episode of “The Voice”, enter an on-pack code from participating bags of Lay’s, and learn about more ways to enter for a chance to win.” One prize is a trip to a live taping of The Voice.

Lay’s has partnered with singer/song writers previously. Last year, the brand worked with Bebe Rexha on the Turn Up the Flavor campaign.

Snacks and pop culture are definitely having a moment. It shows that food and snacks are more than just enjoyable eating. They influence lifestyle choices and reflect personality. Sometimes that person who loves Flamin’ Hot really does have a fiery personality. Food can be a reflection of who you are.

If you are ready to turn your chair around for some Lay’s new chip flavors, why not pop open a bag during the new season of The Voice. The new season premieres on Monday, February 24 at 8 p.m. ET.
