The most important meal of the day is turning into breakfast wars. Taco Bell is making its presence felt in a clear, convincing manner. Why get a breakfast burrito from a hamburger place. Don’t the burrito experts know best? It is time to taste Taco Bell’s Toasted Breakfast Burrito menu.
Starting today, the new Toasted Breakfast Burrito Menu is launching in restaurants. The three new burritos will have burrito lovers excited to wake up early. The most difficult decision will be do you eat one, two or all three burritos.
Melissa Friebe, Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing and Consumer Insights, said “we serve nearly one billion burritos to our fans every year and our new Toasted Breakfast Burrito menu solidifies that Taco Bell is the place for burritos across all dayparts.”
Looking at breakfast menus, the majority of choices are egg sandwiches. While the difference in buns or toppings can make a difference, there are more similarities than differences. Even with the addition of chicken to breakfast menus, the breakfast is a protein between two buns.
By focusing on breakfast burritos, Taco Bell focuses on what they do best, burritos. In addition, these burritos are far from boring. The three new flavors definitely bring the flavors that fans will want.
The three breakfast burritos are Cheesy Toasted Breakfast Burrito, Grande Toasted Breakfast Burrito and Hash Brown Toasted Breakfast Burrito. The Cheesy and Grande Toasted Breakfast Burritos are fairly traditional. Both contain “scrambled eggs, three-cheese blend, potato bites, pico de gallo, and fans’ choice of bacon or sausage.” The difference between the two versions is the amount of eggs.
The most exciting breakfast options is the Hash Brown Toasted Breakfast Burrito. This breakfast options includes “bacon or sausage, eggs, three-cheese blend and a hash brown.” Putting the hash brown inside the burrito makes for a satisfying combination of textures. The slightly crunchy parts of the hash brown with the cheese and scrambled eggs is totally satisfying. Better grab a big cup of coffee to enjoy with it.
The new Taco Bell Breakfast Burritos start at $1 for the Cheesy Toasted Breakfast Burrito, $2.79 for the Grande Cheesy Toasted Breakfast Burrito and $1.99 for the Hash Brown Toasted Breakfast Burrito. Additional meal options are also available.
