This week’s Spring Baking Championship episode might have tiny cake, but the cakes will be colorful. These Trolls World Tour treats will hit the right chord.
Are these Spring Baking Championship bakers ready rock? After last week’s team challenge, the seven remaining bakers have a colorful challenge taking center stage. How will Trolls World Tour inspire these bakers to hit some high notes?
According to the Food Network, this week’s Spring Baking Championship episode, “Trolls World Tour” features the following:
"In celebration of the upcoming movie, the seven remaining bakers join the Trolls World Tour and are challenged to make colorful tiny Troll treats. Then the competitors have VIP all-access passes to a Troll rock concert and must create cakes with a musical Troll tribe theme."
Looking at the pre-heat challenge, the bakers might have their hands full with this bake. Tiny treats can be cute, but they need the right flavor balance. With such a tiny bite, any little misstep is magnified.
Also, colorful treats can be quite tricky. Although the Trolls have vibrant colors, those colors might be too bold for tiny treats. The bakers who can find balance in these tiny Troll treats will do well.
For the main heat, the musical Troll tribe theme could prove quite tricky. While the decoration might be relatively straightforward, how does a baker incorporate musical flavors into the cake. Hopefully there will be more direction given by Clinton.

With the competition getting tougher, it can be harder to hide in these competitions. Although some bakers like Arin seem to always do well, other bakers have had highs and lows. With this colorful challenge on deck, it could cause a shake-up in the competition.
