With just six bakers left in Spring Baking Championship Season 6, the bakers need to strip away the clutter in this week’s episode.
After last week’s colorful Trolls episode, Spring Baking Championship Season 6 is back with a more minimalist approach to baking. While many people might be Spring Cleaning at home, the remaining bakers are taking a step back in these sweet treats. Who will find a diamond in the rough?
According to the Food Network, this week’s Spring Baking Championship Season 6 episode, “Spring Declutter” features the following:
"Spring is the time to clean and streamline, so the six remaining competitors make minimalist creations that are both flourless and flower-less. Then the bakers choose a crafted item from a funky yard sale and use it as inspiration for a gorgeous dessert."
A flourless dessert can be quite tasty. Everyone knows a flourless chocolate cake. Hopefully, these bakers will find a way to create something a little more out of the box.
Given the description of minimalist, it seems that these cakes will be without a lot of decoration. While they might not make naked cakes, these desserts need to deliver on flavor. Sometimes simple desserts can be the most impressive.
In the elimination challenge, the theme could throw the bakers for a loop. While a funky yard sale item might be the inspiration, the bakers better not focus on old or stale flavors. These bakers need to push themselves as the competition nears the finale.

While there have been ups and down, a clear front runner has not yet been determined. Although Arin has had many top finishes so has Tati. Then again, each baker is only as good as his last bake.
