With just three food trucks left, The Great Food Truck Race heads back to California. Which food truck will make some tasty avocado dishes?

Which food trucks will make The Great Food Truck Race finale? As the teams head back to California, one food truck will find that this week’s outcome will be the pits? Who will make the final two?

According to the Food Network, this week’s The Great Food Truck Race “Mission: Santa Barbara” episode features the following:

"In Santa Barbara, Calif., Tyler Florence puts the final three food truck teams to the test on a sprawling avocado farm, where they race to pick and pit 50 avocados. Team morale is tested when they’re challenged to one-up each other’s avocado dishes, and one team’s family makes a surprise visit. The final two teams are revealed."

Looking at these challenges, the first one could be an advantage for the Lunch Ladies. Given their background, they should be able to break down avocados quickly. If they can power through the first challenge, they could be on a roll into the finale.

For the avocado dishes, it will be interesting to see what the food trucks create. It seems likely that Super Sope will make some type of Mexican inspired dish. Hopefully, it will something other than guacamole.

Also, everyone can hope that avocado toast is not on the menu. While this food trend seems to never fade, it can be a little bland. To make the finale, these food trucks need to be bolder.

Based on previous weeks, it seems likely that the Lunch Ladies and Mystikka Masala will be the final two teams. It isn’t that Super Sope isn’t a good food truck. They just aren’t as strong as the other two food trucks.
