Food Network fans know Aarti Sequeira and now families will discover her animated personality through a guest appearance on Mira, Royal Detective.

Like a good story, food can bring families together. Aarti Sequeira has been a fan favorite on the Food Network. From her winning season of Next Food Network Star to her appearances on Guy’s Grocery Games, the celebrity chef and cookbook author has brought her vivacious personality and culinary point of view to foodies and families everywhere.

Disney programs have long been family favorites. From classic Mickey Mouse tales to newer Disney Junior series, these shows allow the family to sit and watch together. Recently, Disney debuted Mira, Royal Detective. The animated series is inspired by the cultures and customs of India.

Since the Disney program includes many prominent South Asia actors, Aarti has joined the cast for a very special episode. In the episode, “Mystery at the Cooking Contest,” Aarti brings her Food Network hosting skills to the Disney series.

For this special episode, Aarti voices Chef Shobha. As the judge of a cooking competition, families and foodies will want to watch and see how the mystery unfolds.

More importantly, there is a line that many kids and families can appreciate. Aarti’s character wants to encourage kids to enjoy cooking. As any parent understands, getting kids involved in the kitchen can be the first step to getting them to enjoy all types of food.
