New Goldfish crackers are Avengers approved for super snacking

It might not be shawarma, but the new Goldfish crackers that feature the Avengers make for some super snacking. With some of the most popular superheroes both on and in the snack bag, these crackers are doing more than smiling back. They are bringing everyone some super-inspired, tasty snacking.

For the first time ever, Goldfish has partnered with the Avengers. Previously, the brand has featured Mickey and Minnie on and in the bag. Now, these popular superheroes are ready to soar to new heights in the snack aisle.

According to the brand, the new Avengers themed Goldfish will feature “Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Captain America, Black Panther, and Thor” on the various Goldfish packages. In addition, specially shaped crackers in the bag will include “Iron Man, Black Widow, Black Panther, and the Avengers symbol.”

While everyone loves that smiling fish, the Avengers themed crackers will be a huge hit. In some ways, snack time can spark an imaginative plot. Maybe the Avengers can overcome those terrible hangry monsters that create all those belly noises. In some ways, these crackers could be a welcome excuse to play with your food.

Although many people will be excited for the Avengers Goldfish crackers, the brand is adding the Disney Princess themed crackers to store shelves. The packages will feature six different Disney princesses. According to the brand, the packages will feature “old and new (including) Jasmine, Tiana, Rapunzel, Cinderella, Moana, and Ariel on the Goldfish cracker packs.” Also, there will be “special edition crackers shaped like Jasmine, Moana, and Cinderella.”

While the Disney Princesses line might have more appeal to little girls, those characters are iconic. Whether you grab a bag while watching one of those classic Disney movies or snack on a handful during your next sing-along, these crackers will be extremely popular.

Goldfish is always looking to expand its brand. From partnerships with well-known characters to expanding into a veggie-focused cracker, the brand understands that it needs to evolve to stay current. Even though the cracker that smiles back has been part of many families’ snack time, it needs to bring consumers back time and again. By discovering a new offering, that iconic snack offers a new sense of adventure.

The new Goldfish Avengers themed crackers and Disney Princess themed crackers will be exclusively at Target starting in the beginning of June. A package retails for $2.49.
