As everyone heads into the Memorial Day weekend, Budweiser Patriotic Cans stand as a visual reminder to take a moment to express gratitude to America’s military.

On Memorial Day everyone takes a moment to reflect on military people’s sacrifices. The new Budweiser Patriotic Cans are more than just another way to enjoy an ice cold Budweiser. The patriotic-themed cans honor the five branches of the United States Military.

Additionally, this patriotic packaging support Folds of Honor. For those unfamiliar, Folds of Honor provides “educational scholarships to the children and spouses of our fallen and disabled service members while serving our nation.” When a large pack of these special cans are sold, Budweiser will donate $1 to Folds of Honor.

If you would like to purchase some of the Budweiser Patriotic Cans, they will be available through July 4. The 12 oz cans are available in both 24 and 30 packs. Additionally, 25 oz single cans are available.

To celebrate the launch, Budweiser released the following commercial.

As seen in the commercial, these cans more meant to be more than just a limited-edition packaging. The can serves as a visual reminder of the dedication, service and sacrifice that the United States Military and their families do.

Even if you rather grab a bottle over a can, why not grab a 24 pack for your next backyard barbecue or for your weekend enjoyment. Whether you have a personal connection to a branch of service or not, the information that is on each label is informative and could have you take a moment to just think.

More importantly, with the Memorial Day weekend here, please refrain from using the expression happy before the day. It is a time to reflect about those died while serving their country. Happy is not the best phrase for the reflective occasion.

Lastly, to give back to military families, Budweiser will he co-streaming live concerts. Available on their social platforms, these concerts are meant to both honor and raise funds for those families. The concerts are as follows:

  • May 25, 7:00 p.m. CT – Lee Brice
  • May 26, 7:00 p.m. CT – Tyler Farr
  • May 27, 7:00 p.m. CT – Multi Platinum-selling singer Justin Moore (The Valory Music Co.)

This weekend, take a moment to raise some Budweiser Patriotic Cans, give a sign of encouragement or bow your head in respect for those who sacrificed.
