Wine cocktails are a perfect toast for summer cocktail hour
Wine cocktails will make summer cocktail hour even tastier.
As the summer season begins, wine cocktails bring a new twist on some favorite cocktails. While the flavors might be similar, that bottle of Cupcake Vineyards wine could shake up the cocktail hour in a whole new way.
For many people, wine is their preferred libation. Whether it is a crisp white wine or a robust, rich red, the numerous wine varietals could be a new bottle every day of the week. Although many people have a favorite wine, it can be enjoyable to try different options.
Even though a glass of wine by itself is delightful, wine can be used in a cocktail. Although many people think of a sparkling wine floater, other types of wine can be used in a cocktail, too.
When using wine in a cocktail, it is important to think about the flavor profiles in wine and how they could be incorporated into a classic cocktail. Whether it is a bright, citrus flavor or a tart note, the wine is just like other cocktail ingredients. The idea is to find the right balance with all the ingredients.
Recently Cupcake wine created some wine cocktails that feature some of their wines. With warmer months ahead, these cocktails could be delightful at a barbecue, leisurely afternoon by the pool or just another night watching your favorite Netflix show.

Turn that Rosé All Day into a refreshing wine cocktail.
Even though any day can be a rosé day, a twist on that vibrantly colored wine can be enjoyable, too. Since the Cupcake Rosé has watermelon and strawberry flavors, it can work in a fruit forward cocktail.
In this Cupcake version of a Paloma, the grapefruit forward cocktail gets a watermelon twist. Since watermelon is a classic summer fruit, this wine cocktail is perfect for those warm days. The watermelon is refreshing and the grapefruit club soda adds a light, effervescent touch.
