According to Popeyes, the new Buffalo Ranch Tenders take the classic Popeyes tenders, which have been marinated in the classic Louisiana seasonings, and then drizzle them with a new Buffalo Ranch Sauce.
That Buffalo Ranch sauce is a blend of tangy and creamy. The touch of heat is balanced. In some ways, this new Buffalo Ranch Sauce is a huge game changer.
There has long been a debate over the best dipping sauce for chicken. While ranch continues to be the top choice, some people prefer a kicked-up version of the classic ranch sauce. This Buffalo Ranch Sauce offers that bold, yet subtle flavor.
After the huge success of the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich and the resulting chicken sandwich wars, it is interesting that Popeyes choose to launch a new chicken tenders flavor for the summer. Maybe people are just over the sandwich idea.
More importantly, the flavor is interesting. While bold spicy flavors seem to be everywhere, this Buffalo Ranch seems to take a new approach. To celebrate this new menu item, Popeyes is offers a new $5 combo. Included in the combo meal will be 3 Buffalo Ranch Tenders, a choice of side, a biscuit and Popeyes’ buttermilk ranch sauce (to tame the heat if needed). The new combo is available for pick-up and delivery via the Popeyes app.
