A classic Worst Cooks in America game is back. Ready to play remote control chef?
After a day at the races and a deep dive, Worst Cooks in America Celebrity Edition is bringing back a classic Food Network challenge. While fans love this classic challenge, the chefs do not always have the same opinion. Have the recruits learned enough to teach the chefs something?
According to the Food Network, this Worst Cooks in America episode, “Robo-Dough” features the following:
"The roles are reversed in boot camp as the celebrity recruits and chefs Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence play the fan-favorite game, Remote-Control Chef. In the game, the recruits instruct their chef on how to make a dish that they cannot see, taste or touch. For the main dish challenge, Anne and Tyler teach the recruits how to make homemade ravioli. The recruits put their own flavor riff on their ravioli, and the bottom two are sent to the blind elimination challenge."
Given the remaining recruits, both Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence could be in a lot of trouble in the remote control chef challenge. Even though the recruits are learning some skills, they still need a lot of help. It could be a disaster in the making.
For the main dish challenge, making ravioli is going to be hard. Although many people can make fresh pasta at home, these recruits seem to have difficulty following directions. Like baking, pasta cannot just be thrown together.
Additionally, the filling to the ravioli is important. Even though the recruits can offer their own spin on the ravioli, it needs to be a good choice. Some ingredients and flavors should never be in a ravioli.
Looking at the remaining recruits, it is still difficult to pick a potential favorite or even a contender. Everyone is still struggling. Can any recruit achieve at least a passable dish in this week’s challenge?
