Are these celebrity Worst Cooks in America ready for some sweet dreams?

With just four celebrities remaining, the Worst Cooks in America are ready for a sweet treat. In this week’s episode, the recruits learn to make dessert. Will these treats be filled with sweet dream or will they be confectionary disasters?

According to Food Network, this week’s Worst Cooks in America Celebrity Edition episode, “Sweet Showdown” features the following:

"The final four celebrity recruits enter boot camp to find a sweet surprise! To kick things off, they play a dessert scramble game before they’re tasked with making their own sweet parfaits. Then, things get competitive for the main dish challenge as chefs Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence challenge the final two recruits on each team to cook head-to-head to earn their spot in the finale. Each team is given an ingredient to use in a composed meal. The two recruits with the best dishes move onto the finale while the bottom two recruits say a bittersweet goodbye to boot camp."

For the first challenge, making a parfait should not be too difficult. The key to a good parfait is keeping the layers separate. Although you use the spoon to enjoy all the layers in one bite, it is important for each part to stand on its own.

In the last challenge before the finale, the four recruits need to show that they can listen, learn and apply the skills that Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence have taught them. It isn’t about going too far outside of the box, but it is about executing a good dish.

Given the final four, it seems like that the finale will be two guys. Even though Dave has done well, Johnny Bananas seems to have the best chance of securing a spot in the finale. As seen in last week’s ravioli challenge, Bananas can deliver some impressive flavors.

As for Anne’s team, Wells could have an advantage. His taco ravioli was creative, but it was also well executed. That combination could serve him well in the finale.
