Iced tea is refreshing and iced tea cocktails can quench that summer thirst.

Iced tea is often a popular beverage choice and iced tea cocktails are a fun twist on that classic thirst quencher. Whether you take your tea sweet, unsweetened or even cold brewed, that classic beverage can get a little “adult” upgrade. From popping open a can to creating a slushie, what will you be sipping at the next summer barbecue?

For many people who prefer to skip the soda, iced tea is top choice. From bottled varieties to homemade sun-tea to everything in between, this beverage option has almost limitless choices.

Since so many people like the flavor of iced tea, iced tea cocktails have become a popular summer choice. Whether paired with summer barbecue or just slowly sipped on a lazy summer afternoon, many of these cocktails have the classic iced tea flavor but with a little boost from alcohol.

If you prefer to just pop open a can instead of shaking up a cocktail, the Crook & Marker Spiked Teas are a perfect choice. Each can features real, brewed tea. At only 80 calories a can, zero added sugar and no artificial flavors, it tastes like the tea you would make at home, just a little better.

Available in four flavors, the raspberry tea is delicious. The touch of sweetness is just right. Whether drunk on its own or with a meal, you might want to pop open a second can.

If you prefer frozen iced tea cocktails, this simple idea could become the next backyard party must have. Twisted Tea is offering its summertime bag-n-box win a Big Ol’ Bag of Freedom design.

Big Ol’ Bag of Freedom Slushies

Ingredients:

  • Lemon wedge (for garnish)

Method:

Remove Big Ol’ Bag of Freedom from the box, placing the bag into the freezer. Let freeze for 10 – 12 hours, until slushie consistency. Take the bag out of the freezer and break up the ice chunks. Place the bag back into the freezer for another hour. Remove and cut open the bag, scooping slushies into mason jars. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
