Big Time Bake episode 2 preview: Ultimate baking fantasy
On this Big Time Bake episode, the sweet treats are the ultimate baking fantasy.
More bakers are ready for a new challenge in Big Time Bake. For this week’s theme, the bakers must create fantasy treats. While these cookies, cupcakes and cakes are mystical, only one will earn the grand prize.
According to the Food Network, this week’s Big Time Bake episode, “Fantasy” features the following:
"Four bakers battle the clock as they create mystical cookies, cupcakes and cakes that transport the judges to another realm. When six hours is up, Buddy Valastro, Lorraine Pascale and Dan Langan decide which competitor has earned an all-expenses-paid vacation."
The idea of fantasy is quite broad. As seen in last week’s episode, the challenge’s theme can go in many directions. While the bakers are quite artistic, the interpretation of the theme can be quite varied. It seems quite unlikely that two baked good will look similar.
The key to success in these challenges is time management. Even though one team is eliminated per challenge, the baking teams need to carefully plan with the hopes of making the final cake. Being unprepared will not earn the team the win.
At the same time, each team cannot overlook each individual aspect to the challenges. If that cookie crumbles poorly, there are no cupcakes presented to the judges.
Thinking about this week’s team of judges, the bakers might want to bring their “A” game. These three judges have been around many Food Network competitions. They will not overlook any mistake and the details need to be on point.
