Krispy Kreme goes patriotic with Indoughpendence Day Doughnuts
Krispy Kreme celebrates red, white and Indoughpendence Day Doughnuts
Kick off July 4th celebrations with Krispy Kreme Indoughpendence Day Doughnuts. These patriotic themed doughnuts are literally popping with red, white and blue deliciousness. Ready to bring some extra patriotic doughnut flare to the celebration?
Available now, for a limited time, Krispy Kreme is offering Indoughpendence Day Doughnuts. These patriotic themed doughnuts are more than just red, white and blue colors. Whether you enjoy one, a dozen or even 20, these special doughnuts will have you proudly celebrating the July 4th holiday.
Added to the menu for a limited time are four new doughnuts. The doughnuts include: Patriotic Doughnut, Strawberry Sparkler Doughnut, Original Freedom Ring Doughnut and the Firework Doughnut. While each special flavor is tasty, one is a must try.
The Firework Doughnut is topped with popping candy. The original glazed doughnut is dipped into blue icing, decorated with red and white drizzle and topped with blue raspberry flavored popping candy. While the “popping” aspect to the candy is fun, the flavor should be quite tasty.
Pairing the original glazed with blue raspberry could be quite a sweet treat. You might want some black coffee to offset all that sweetness.
If you aren’t prepared for that flavor explosion, the Strawberry Sparkler Doughnut is a great option. The Original Filled Strawberries and Kreme doughnut features red icing and star sprinkles. Given that it is strawberry season, this doughnut would be great served with some fresh, local strawberries. A perfect way to kick off the July 4th celebration.
For a big celebration, the Patriotic Dozens Box features all four-limited edition flavors. Whether you start your day with these doughnuts or serve a couple of dozen as dessert for a summer barbecue, everyone will be excited to celebrate the Indoughpendence Day.
Will Krispy Kreme be part of your Independence Day celebration? What is your favorite patriotic treat?
