Kellogg’s Minecraft Creeper Crunch is coming to stores and mornings just got more creative.

Stepping off the screen and into the real world, the new Kellogg’s Minecraft Creeper Crunch is the gaming inspired cereal that over 126 million players will want to try. While these creepers might not explode in your mouth, they are bringing a new sense of adventure to the cereal aisle.

Recently announced by Kellogg’s, Minecraft Creeper Crunch is a “cinnamon flavored cereal” that features “green square-shaped Creeper bit marshmallows.” Based on the picture, it appears that the marshmallows are various colors of green, just like the various green Creepers in Minecraft.

Looking at the cereal on the box, it is quite interesting that the shapes are block like. Anyone who has played Minecraft knows that this gaming world is all about the blocks. Usually, cereal shapes are not quite as square-like. This choice adds to the authenticity of the gaming connection.

For cereal fans, the flavor is the most important. Combining cinnamon and marshmallow flavors should make for a tasty treat. Hopefully, the warm spice from the cinnamon perfectly balances the sweetness from the marshmallows.

The Kellogg’s Minecraft Creeper Crunch Cereal will be available in stores starting in August. An 8 oz box will retail for $3.99 and a 12.7 oz box will retail for $5.69.
