Worst Cooks in America Season 20 finale: Who will earn the cooking crown?

The Worst Cooks in America Season 20 finale is here.

After many weeks in boot camp, the Worst Cooks in America Season 20 finale is here. While some Food Network fans might not have predicted this outcome, both Zack and Ari earned their spot in the finale. Who will take the cooking crown?

According to the Food Network, the Worst Cooks in America Season 20 finale features the following:

"In the last skill drill, the final two recruits are challenged by a couple of cooks who aren’t kidding around — Chopped Junior Champions! Then, Chef Anne Burrell and Chef Alex Guarnaschelli teach the recruits their finale menus. For the final main dish challenge, the recruits put their newly learned skills to the test by cooking a three-course restaurant quality meal for a panel of culinary experts. Judges Mary Giuliani, James Tahhan and Julian Rodarte blindly taste each course and determine the winner who will take home $25,000!"

Looking at the first challenge, it can be a little intimidating to take on those junior chefs. Cooking skill doesn’t come with an age number. Still, these worst cooks can learn a thing or two from these younger chefs.

Thinking about the final menus, these three course meals should be rather impressive. Throughout the season, the recruits have tackled some difficult dishes. From making pasta to fish, the menu will not be boring.

Overall, Zack and Ari have made great strides this season. Zack earned his family’s apron on last week’s episode. Ari has found a way to make “Shirley” happy. No matter the final outcome, these home cooks have made huge improvements.

Although both teams are equally matched, Chef Alex Guarnaschelli has been a good addition to Worst Cooks. She found a way to be engaging while still demanding a lot from her team. Sure, a few comments or looks seemed to convey what everyone else is thinking. Still, nothing was just mean (remember all the replace Alton commentary).
