Krispy Kreme is making back to school sweeter for educators.
With all the many back to school challenges, Krispy Kreme is showing its sweet appreciation for educators. The Educator Appreciation Week and Free Straight A Dozen is the company’s way of celebrating educators with a token of gratitude for all those people who help to make the education system stronger.
Everyone appreciates that this back to school season is quite different. Instead of shopping for a new backpack and lunchbox, the kitchen table may be the seat of learning. Whether families virtual learn or have in person instruction, the educators who help the children on their path to success play an important role in the process. As parents have learned in the past couple of months, being an educator is no easy task.
This year Krispy Kreme is celebrating Educator Appreciation week starting on August 10. From August 10 through August 14, teachers can get one free Original Glazed Doughnut and regular sized drip coffee. Guests are asked to show an employer badge at either the drive-thru or via takeout.
Additionally, on August, 11, Krispy Kreme will be giving away a “Straight A Dozen” with every purchase of a dozen doughnuts. This offer is available via pickup, drive-thru or delivery.
The Straight A Dozen includes “three “Straight A” Doughnuts, fileld with classic Kreme, dipped in chocolate icing, topped with sprinkles and decorated with A+” as well as Original Glazed doughnuts.
According to Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme, “Education is going to be very different this school year and more challenging and important than ever. From teachers to tutors to parents and coaches we want to thank everyone who is helping our kids to keep learning in these tough times no matter where the ‘classroom’ is.”
While this school year looks different, Krispy Kreme is committed to supporting schools and organizations. New contactless fundraising will be available. For more information on this program, please visit www.krispykreme.com/fundraising.
