Jose Cuervo answers the question – Who’s Making Margs?
Jose Cuervo puts celebrities behind the bar with Who’s Making Margs?
Last night, Jose Cuervo kicked off a new online series, Who’s Making Margs. The online event puts celebrities behind the bar and asks them to share their custom margaritas. During the virtual party, viewers on Jose Cuervo’s YouTube Channel will learn a special margarita recipe, have the opportunity to win some prizes and just enjoy a little diversion.
To kick of the Who’s Making Margs event, Lil Dicky, star of the TV series Dave, went behind the bar. The event was filled with laughs and a really tasty margarita.
Here’s Lil Dicky’s margarita recipe.
Lil Dicky’s Margarita:
Ingredient
- 2 oz Jose Cuervo® Tradicional® Tequila Plata
- 2 oz lime juice
- 2 oz peach nectar
- Ice
- Lime for garnish
- Peach for Garnish
- Salt for rim
Preparation
- In a shaker, add ice, Jose Cuervo® Tradicional® Tequila Plata, fresh lime juice and peach nectar to taste. Run lime wedge around the rim of glass then dip the glass into salt. Garnish the glass with a lime wedge and enjoy! Serves 2.
- For extra refreshment, blend all ingredients with ice for frozen margarita.
With peaches in season, the little slice of fresh peach on the rim is a great choice. Plus, a little fruit with your cocktail makes you feel a little better. It is always easier to eat more fruit when there is a cocktail involved.
Thinking about this margarita, it would be delicious when served with grilled chicken. Chicken and peaches are a classic pair.
Also, you could even serve this margarita with some barbecue chicken. Sometimes a touch of peach in a barbecue sauce is quite tasty. Plus, you do not always need a beer with barbecue.
Overall, this margarita recipe shows that the classic cocktail can adapt to various flavors. From grilled fruits to bold spices, the classic margarita is never boring.
Be sure to check out the Jose Cuervo YouTube Channel for the next installment of Who’s Making Margs. Another celebrity will step behind the bar to shake up a tasty margarita. Any guesses who will be the next mixologist?
