Everyone can cheer for the return of the Taco Bell free Doritos Locos Tacos promo. For the ninth year, the Taco Bell Steal A Base, Steal A Taco promotion returns. With the 2020 World Series set to begin on October 20, many people will be cheering for free Taco Bell.

With the Steal A Base, Steal A Taco promotion becoming part of the World Series tradition, people are ready for a taste of the familiar. Noah Garden, MLB Chief Revenue Officer, said, “we’re thrilled to partner with Taco Bell to bring baseball fans even more to look forward to through this extraordinary postseason.”

While the tradition continues, there is a new aspect to the free Doritos Locos Tacos promotion. Since being a loyal fan has its rewards, Taco Bell wants to make this promotion a little bigger.

Nikki Lawson, Taco Bell’s Chief Global Brand Officer said, “We’re looking forward to seeing who will be America’s newest Taco Hero and are excited to give our Taco Bell Loyalty Rewards Members early access to their free Doritos® Locos Taco via Taco Bell Loyalty Rewards (Beta).”

For Taco Bell Reward (Beta) Program members, their free taco will come even sooner than everyone else. According to Taco Bell, fans will be able “ to score their free taco within hours after the first base is stolen in the World Series via a code on the Taco Bell app and to have their own unique redemption period.”

If you haven’t signed up for the program, now would be a good time. Like many restaurants, app reward programs have become the new way for restaurants to give free food, discounts and other special offers.

If you are not part of the Taco Bell Reward (Beta) Program don’t fret. You can still get the free Doritos Locos Tacos. That free taco offer will be available in restaurants on October 28.

While the stands might not be full with fans, baseball fans can join in the steal the base cheering and throw their support behind the Taco Hero experience. Taco Bell has partnered with BetMGM for two exclusive prop bets for BetMGM app users. Whether or not you want to wager more than the cost of a Doritos Locos Taco is up to you.
