Which baker will be the belle of the costume ball on Halloween Baking Championship?

With only two episodes left in this Halloween Baking Championship season, the remaining bakers are looking to dazzle. Whose costume cake will be the toast of the ballroom?

According to the Food Network, this week’s Halloween Baking Championship episode, “The Costume Ball,” features the following:

"Host Carla Hall invites the five remaining bakers to a party in the haunted ballroom. For a spot in the finale, the competitors must create impressive costume cakes that will dazzle Carla and the other judges, Stephanie Boswell and Zac Young."

Thinking about this challenge, a costume cake will take a creative eye. Although the bakers had made 3D doll cakes earlier this season, these cakes will have to be different.

It will be interesting to see the themes for the costumes. Although some costumes could be pretty, it seems likely to have a haunting twist.

Since each challenge has two twists to the theme, could one of the twists be a tiara or crown? Given the theme, it seems likely.

As for the flavor component, it might be floral flavor. Flowers and a costume ball seem to pair well. Hopefully, the desserts do not smell like potpourri. A subtle floral note can be lovely, but no one wants a dessert that smells like grandma’s perfume.

Looking back at previous challenges, it will be hard to say which bakers will make the finale. Aaron had an impressive showing in the last episode. Sinai has done well, too. Still, every baker is only as good has his last dessert.

Which dessert will be the belle of the ball and which cake will see its miss out on the last dance? Here’s how to watch this week’s Halloween Baking Championship episode.
