Coca-Cola is promoting diversity with a new virtual dinner series called Together We Must.

Coca-Cola is promoting diversity and inclusion efforts with a new virtual dinner series called the Together We Must program, which will run until November 17.

Each of the six virtual dinners will be hosted by a celebrity or influencer, beginning with podcaster Cori Murray on Wednesday, October 21, and also including NASCAR Cup Series driver Bubba Wallace. This timing coincides well with National Make a Difference Day, which is Sunday, October 24.

Other partners involved in the program are the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, Civic Dinners and Equitable Dinners, which makes sense, as they’re also based in the Atlanta area.

“Together we must talk. We must listen. We must all embrace compassion, love and understanding,” Wallace said in a press release.

As the first full-time black driver in stock car racing’s top series in half a century, Wallace is familiar with breaking down barriers, becoming a social media superstar over this season while piloting the historic No. 43 for Richard Petty Motorsports.

Wallace will be driving for a new team in 2021, owned by NBA legend Michael Jordan and Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin. A team name and number is not known at the moment, but the manufacturer will likely be Toyota. He will be bringing sponsorship from DoorDash, Kingsford Charcoal, McDonald’s, CashApp, and Columbia Sportswear to the team.

Wallace and Hamlin are both part of a group of drivers known as the Coca-Cola Racing Family, which also counts Mexican driver Daniel Suarez among its members, and the Cup Series’ most successful female driver, Danica Patrick, was also a member during the NASCAR portion of her racing career.
