Even though the Grinch will be scurrying around, the Universal Orlando Holiday celebrations are making this holiday season full of merry mischief that everyone has come to expect from Universal Orlando. With a few modifications to this year’s celebration, the holidays will still have that merry mixed with a little mayhem.

For many people, the Universal Orlando Holiday celebrations balance that childhood wonder with a little grown-up flare. Since the holidays create lasting memories, this year’s celebration builds on favorite experiences from the past while evolving into new adventures.

In previous years, the Macy’s Balloons were a highlight of the nightly holiday parade. This year, guests will get a special glimpse to the holiday magic that the iconic Macy’s Balloons offer.

The Universal’s Holiday Experience featuring Macy’s Balloons allows guests to stroll a picture perfect pathway. All the classic characters, like the Minions, Gingy and more will be on display.

Of course, the highlight of every holiday celebration is Santa. At the end of stroll, guests can take a socially distanced picture with Santa.

Since the Universal Orlando holiday celebrations always have a little mischief with the merry, the Grinch is back spreading his version of holiday cheer. The Grinch will be appearing in the vibrantly decorated Seuss Landing.

While the Grinch might try to steal a little holiday cheer, the newly decorated Christmas trees are a sight to see. The color changing trees make all the Whos in Whoville smile.

Of course, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is transformed with its holiday magic. From the stunning décor to seasonal treats, like Hot Butterbeer, you might wish that your wand could instantly transform your own castle into this holiday display.

After hugely popular Tribute Stores for Halloween and Mardi Gras, the Universal Orlando Holiday celebrations will get its first ever Holiday Tribute Store. While complete details have yet to be revealed, guests will be able to experience four immersive rooms.

Considering previous Tribute Store offerings, this Holiday Tribute Store should be quite impressive. In addition to the The Grinch, it will be interesting to see what other holiday merriment and mischief will be in store. Could it actually snow in the Tribute Store?

From character meet and greets to special holiday treats to a holiday Christmas tree trail, a visit to Universal Orlando during the holiday season is a must. The holiday festivities will run from November 14 through January 4, 2021.
