Holiday Baking Championship Season 7 episode 7: A holiday trifle
In this Holiday Baking Championship episode, classic Christmas desserts fill the plate.
As the countdown to Christmas quickens, Holiday Baking Championship takes on two classic holiday desserts. While these holiday desserts can be quite pretty, the bakers will need to execute. These holiday desserts need to look as good as they taste.
According to Food Network, this Holiday Baking Championship episode, “A Classic Christmas” features the following:
"Host Jesse Palmer asks the five bakers to pull out all the stops and create the most-delicious, over-the-top version of a holiday trifle. Then, the classics continue in the main heat when the competitors make the ultimate Charlotte royale for judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman and Carla Hall, as well as the king of Christmas — Santa Claus!"
For the preheat, a holiday trifle is a classic but a traditional dessert will not impress the judges at this point in the competition. The bakers need to find interesting flavor combinations not to mention that the holiday decorations need to be on point.
While the holiday trifle might give the bakers some creative discretion, the Charlotte royale requires precise technique. Although the visual makes a stunning presentation, there is no room for error. If these bakers do not get the dessert right, there is no saving the Charlotte royal.
Since the Holiday Baking Championship finale is quickly approaching, it is time to start predictions for a potential winner. Throughout the season, the bakers have fluctuated on the Naughty and Nice list. While Megan rebounded well last episode, she needs some momentum. LaShonda has done well, but has had a few missteps. Overall, this competition is really up for grabs.
Before a champion can be crowned, the bakers need to create a holiday trifle and a Charlotte royale. Who will top the Nice list on this Holiday Baking Championship episode?
