Are you prepared for Pepsi Cocoa Cola? While hot cocoa might be the classic holiday beverage, this new Pepsi beverage could be the ultimate drink this holiday season. With this new limited edition Pepsi beverage, the holiday season is already looking brighter.

Sometimes a flavor twist to a classic beverage can be quite refreshing. During Thanksgiving, the Pepsi Apple Pie flavor captivated many people’s attention. While it might not have been exactly like eating an apple pie, it did make for a tasty apple pie a la mode ice cream float.

Building on that beverage creativity, the Pepsi Cocoa Cola is the newest innovation from the brand. Since some people might crave that hot cocoa flavor, but don’t want the “hot” part of a beverage, Pepsi has found the flavor solution.

Todd Kaplan, Vice President of Marketing at Pepsi said, “So why not bring together the delicious taste of a Pepsi with the delicious, wintery taste of chocolate and marshmallow and bring some unexpected joy to our fans this season? We are confident we nailed Pepsi “Cocoa” Cola and can’t wait to get this in the hands of cola fans this winter.”

According to Pepsi, the Pepsi Cocoa Cola blends cocoa with a hint of marshmallow into the classic Pepsi Cola. The idea is to blend the flavors add a touch of sweetness and richness without overwhelming that favorite beverage.

Since it is the winter time, why not curl up by the fire with some Pepsi Cocoa Cola. It sounds like it would be a perfect pairing with some holiday cookies. For adults, you could make a “special” holiday libation with it, too.

While this beverage will be a limited edition offering, it begs the question, could Pepsi have a new limited edition flavor for every season? Pepsi goes with almost anything. Just think of the flavor fireworks that are possible for the Fourth of July.
