A few lucky fans will win a Michelob ULTRA Lakers Championship Bottle.

As the new NBA season kicks off, the Michelob ULTRA Lakers Championship Bottle is here to celebrate the LA Lakers’ Championship Ring Ceremony. Are you ready to sip like the champions?

According to Michelob ULTRA and Anthony Davis, 50 Michelob ULTRA Limited Edition Lakers Championship Bottles will be given away via social media. The giveaway will begin at 7 p.m. PST on Tuesday, December 22.

If you want a bottle, you better have lightning-fast reflexes. With only 50 bottles available, they will go quickly.

For Lakers fans, this special promotion will pique their interest. Many sports fans collect these limited-edition offerings. From Wheaties Boxes to collectible bottles, these items tend to line shelves in many sports shrines.

Whether people open the bottle and imbibe or just let it sit on the shelf, that bottle becomes a visual remembrance of the championship season. Even though fans didn’t get to watch those championship games in person, that bottle can be their connection to their favorite basketball team.

As the Official Beer Partner of the NBA, it makes sense this special commemorative bottle will be part of the Lakers’ celebration. It is interesting that the special commemorative bottle is only available via a giveaway. In some ways, this bottle could have been leveraged for a charity fundraiser, too.

While the bottle appears larger than a traditional beer bottle, it seems that one of these special bottles would have many people lining up to buy one. Given the potential demand, Michelob ULTRA could have leveraged this special bottle in many ways.

Looking ahead at the new NBA season, it will be interesting to see how Michelob ULTRA uses its platform has the Official Beer Partner of the NBA. After the courtside programming from last season, it would be smart to continue to give NBA fans that closer look at all the action.
