Bud Light Seltzer Lemonade adds new bubbly flavors to the mix

Bursting with lemon flavor, the new Bud Light Seltzer Lemonade is here.

While the hard seltzer market continues to grow, the new Bud Light Seltzer Lemonade is the bright, refreshing sip that is perfect for all seasons. Although grandma might not want to hear this comment, you might prefer this beverage to her old-fashioned lemonade.

For many people, lemonade is a classic beverage that goes with almost anything. While the lemon flavor seems to bring instant refreshment, many people are looking for new ways to innovative that old-school flavor.

Over the past couple of years, the hard seltzer market has surged. As beer brands expanded their portfolios to include these lighter, often fruit forward options, those beverages continue to find an audience. From wanting variety to preferring the lighter flavors, hard seltzer is a category that deserves prime space on the shelf.

The new Bud Light Seltzer Lemonade brings a new twist to the hard seltzer offerings. A lemonade forward beverage, these offerings tend to be a little more flavorful, lemon forward option. Available in four flavors, Original Lemonade, Black Cherry Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade and Peach Lemonade, everyone will have a favorite.

As seen in the new promotional videos, these beverages try to play off that sense of nostalgia without being stuck in the past.

Recently, I had the opportunity to taste test the new Bud Light Seltzer Lemonade. All four flavors are refreshing, approachable and quite drinkable. The classic lemonade flavor is everything that you want from a sparkling lemonade hard seltzer. It is bright, tart and sweet.

Thinking about the original flavor, it would be perfect with a burger, ribs or even that spicy shrimp dish. The versatility of this flavor heightens the appeal.

The most intriguing flavor is the Peach Lemonade. In some ways, peach could be the trending flavor for 2021. While berry combinations are everywhere, the peach offers that sense of nostalgia. There is something about that combination that brings up summer family gatherings.

For a little twist, consider using the Peach Lemonade in a cocktail or even just adding a little fresh thyme garnish. This flavor lends itself to cocktail creativity.

The new Bud Light Seltzer Lemonade will be available in variety 12-packs of 12 oz slim cans. Each variety pack has all four flavors. Each can is“100 calories with less than 1 gram of sugar and 5% ABV.”

The Bud Light Seltzer Lemonade will be available starting January 18 at participating retailers.
