Patrick Dempsey explains why Poland Spring ORIGIN is a Maine original
Patrick Dempsey invites everyone to appreciate a sip of Poland Spring ORIGIN.
While everyone appreciates the importance of drinking water, Patrick Dempsey and Poland Spring ORIGIN invite people to take a sip of refreshing water from Maine. Through this collaboration, consumers can explore what it means to experience the refreshing water from Maine.
Although everyone knows that H2O is water, not all water is equal. Water’s origin impacts the flavor and components of that water. From the minerality to the flavor, not all waters are the same.
For Poland Spring, their connection to Maine is part of their story. With this new offering, the brand wanted to share its story.
Yumi Clevenger-Lee, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Nestlé Waters North America, said “To unveil Poland Spring ORIGIN, we wanted to collaborate with someone who embodies the authentic spirit of Maine and shares our roots, our values, and deep respect for and love of nature. The choice was simple: Patrick is genuine and down-to-earth. He’s committed to making a positive impact, and is deeply connected to the Earth, believing – as we do – that nature is essential to our well-being.”
As a Maine native, Patrick Dempsey appreciates the crisp, refreshing water from Maine. In this recently released video, “My Origin,” the Dempsey reflects on why he is drawn to this water and what it means to him.
Although many people might hope to be transported to the majestic landscape of Maine by just taking a sip, the water may not have those magical powers. Still, the refreshing, crisp water does reflect the area from which it comes.
Since the water is filtered through a 10,000 year old glacial aquifer, the water does have a different flavor and mouth feel. Whether you drink it for the flavor or the naturally occurring electrolytes, this bottled water does deserve a chance to be sipped and savored.
While flavor drives many people’s beverage choices, the packaging of beverages is equally as important. With concerns over single use plastic, many people look for brands that take recycling seriously.
The Poland Spring ORIGIN bottles are “100% recycled* and recyclable.” Since the brand makes a commitment to sustainability, one bottle makes a complete loop, meaning it can be recycled into another recycled bottle.
In addition, the brand looks additional programs to offset other environmental impacts, like product shipping. For example, it supports “Bluesource – Baskahegan Improved Forest Management Project in Maine, a project located on over 86,000 acres of forest in the Northeast.”
Consumers have options when they choose a product. While flavor is a driving factor, brands that align with their values can be a deciding factor. The Poland Spring ORIGIN looks to make that consumer connection.
