Cadbury Bunny Tryouts are back and Lieutenant Dan is judging

For the past couple of years, the Cadbury Bunny Tryouts have encouraged all types of furry friends or even some flirty fishes to put on those bunny ears. That iconic Hershey candy, often associated with Easter, has seen a wide variety of animals do their best bunny impression. Who will earn the title this year?

As many people can appreciate, pets are more than just a furry friend and companion. Whether people call them their fur babies or not, those dogs, cats and other animals are valued members of the family. They bring smiles during time of sadness and comfort in times of need. Even if “Doug” chewed your favorite slippers into little fuzzy pieces, you still love him and all his exuberance.

For 2021, the Cadbury Bunny Tryouts are back. It is the third year for this event. Who will capture America’s heart?

Lieutenant Dan was the 2020 Cadbury Bunny Tryouts winner.

To kick off this year’s event, Cadbury is sharing the never before seen commercial featuring last year’s winner, Lieutenant Dan. The two-legged Treeing Walker Coonhound captured everyone’s hearts last year. Whether or not you get the name reference, this special friend shows that determination comes in all shapes and sizes.

If you know a special animal that could be the star of the next commercial, make sure to enter  them in the Cadbury Bunny Tryouts. In addition to staring in the commercial, the winner will receive $5.000. The contest runs now through March 1.

Although every companion is special to their family, it might be important to set your furry friend up for success. From a special story to a unique talent, it is time for that family member to shine. Even if the bunny ears are a hard pass, maybe some hoping good talents could earn a spot in everyone’s hears.

And, don’t forget to put some Cadbury eggs in the Easter basket this year. Although the Easter candy isn’t for the animal family members, there is probably a special “some bunny” in your home that will love to enjoy that sweet, creamy Easter candy.
