Elysian Brewing Full Contact entices with fruit forward flavor
Never afraid to take a bold risk, Elysian Brewing Full Contact Imperial Hazy IPA might make you do a triple take even before you open a can. While the creative imagery is what people have come to expect from Elysian Brewing, the hazy IPA flavors are quite unique. Are you ready to succumb to the invitation?
While Elysian Brewing has wide variety of beers, it is growing its Contact family. If you have enjoyed Contact Haze, that beer is a juicy, fruity and bright beer. With a variety of hops, the beer is quite refreshing in its hazy, lower bitter beer.
The new beer, Elysian Brewing Full Contact is a bolder addition to the line. The bittersweet beer is full of the fruity flavors that people expect. Instead of tropical fruits like the Contact Haze, the Full Contact has some melon notes and some tangerine.
The interesting aspect is the sweeter notes that are almost like a cream soda. Not overpowering, that flavor makes you go back for another sip to unravel the taste. It is almost as if someone keeps calling you back to a flavor memory. In some ways, you may not believe it, but you cannot resist it.
While the flavors can spark a curiosity, the aromas are enticing. The slightly floral notes combined with hints of pine make you think of a long walk in the woods. Although you might not know what is around the corner, you are more than willing to keep discovering.
The Elysian Brewing Full Contact Imperial Hazy IPA is a big beer. At 8.8% ABV, it is a beer that is meant to be enjoyed slowly and allow it to reveal itself. Although it could be paired with a variety of foods, it seems like it is best enjoyed on its own.
Later this year, Elysian Brewing shared that a third beer will join the Contact line. Altered Contact, a tart IPA, will be available. When this beer is released, a Contact Family Trilogy Pack will be available.
Are you ready to succumb to the bold flavors of the Elysian Brewing Full Contact Imperial Hazy IPA? The first sip will not be your last.
