Many people have grown up with the iconic Frosted Flakes cereal. From the crunchy flakes to the sweetened cereal milk at the bottle of the bowl, everyone has a reason why they find this particular cereal great.

The new Frosted Flakes cereal adds both a layer of flavor and texture to the iconic Kellogg’s cereal. The cinnamon flavored, basketball shaped pieces bring a touch of warm spice to the bowl. When the two flavors come together in a single bite, it is a winning combination.

While Frosted Flakes did have a cinnamon version, this cereal is different. It is more than just the cinnamon flavor. The addition of the basketball shaped balls add to the excitement.

Why is Shaq so excited about the new Frosted Flakes cereal?

In a CNBC article, it referenced Shaq’s long connection to Frosted Flakes. Throughout his career he often mentioned how he enjoyed eating his Frosted Flakes cereal. Now, he is on the actual box.

For this new Kellogg’s cereal, Tony the Tiger has pivoted out of his iconic role and given Shaq top billing. Although, it is unclear who has the better foul shot, Shaq or Tony. Still, the added element of having such a basketball iconic on the cereal box brings excitement to this product launch.

The new Frosted Flakes with Crispy Cinnamon Basketballs will hit store shelves in April 2021. It will be available in both a 10.2 oz box ($3.99) and a 16.3 oz ($5.69) option.
