Taste of Universal is a culinary feast at Universal Studios Hollywood
As many people have longed to step on the red carpet again, Taste of Universal begins the re-opening of Universal Studios Hollywood. If you are ready to walk through the arched, the popular theme park will be opening its doors and tempting guests with a wide array of culinary delights. With so many tasty treats, guests better come hungry.
Starting on Friday, March 12, Universal Studios Hollywood will open selected themed lands on weekends. Although attractions will be closed, the Taste of Universal will offer almost 70 food options as well as shopping and character photo opportunities.
Looking at the menu, some popular favorite foods will be available. For guests that have longed for a Butterbeer, they can sip on one in Hogsmeade village. In addition Three Broomsticks will be serving Fish & Chip as well as the always tempting Sticky Toffee Pudding.
For Simpsons fans, Springfield U.S.A will be offering a Krusty Burger as well as some temping Lard Lad Donuts from the donut cart. What beverage you choose to wash it down with it is up to you.
Also, the Hollywood & Dine area will feature a wide array of food choices, including a hot chicken sandwich as well as brisket sliders. Cocina Mexicana features loaded nachos, tacos and even some elote corn on the cob.
Continuing the crepe theme park food trend, City Snack Shop will debut Crepewich. With both sweet and savory items, these food options are a must.
Debuting for the first time, Minon Café will offer a little mischief with the dining experience. From classic fare like a grilled cheese to chicken & bacon mac and cheese, these menu choices will appeal to all ages.
And, don’t miss the Nutella Banana pudding. In addition to making a great photo, this dessert is definitely a must for any minion in your group.
Taste of Universal at Universal Studios Hollywood costs $44 for adults and $25 for children. Each admission comes with a choice of five food options for adults and three food options for children. Additional food offerings are available for purchase.
The Universal Studios Hollywood red carpet has been rolled out and delectable delights are ready. While it might be called Taste of Universal, the special event seems more like a feast.
