While it might not be actually snowing at Blizzard Beach, the Disney Parks water park offers a day filled with snow-inspired fun. Whether you prefer to relax with a beverage in the shadows of Summit Plummet or rather travel down the lazy river, the Disney water park is a great escape for the whole family.

After being closed, Blizzard Beach reopened on March 7. While Disney Parks are often filled with magical memories, the water park is more than just splashing and fun in the sun. With the ski resort theme, the Disney touches bring a little whimsy to the water fun. Whether it is riding the ski lift to the top of Summit Plummet or seeing the melting snow effects around the park, it encourages guests to embrace their imagination while enjoying the Florida sunshine.

Ahead of the re-opening, Disney Parks shared the following video to give a glimpse into the experiences of Blizzard Beach.

While this soothing moment could be the escape that people have been craving, it is only a small glimpse of what a day at Blizzard Beach offers. And, since all that wet fun builds an appetite, Disney chefs have created a tasty food and beverage menu that will keep guests fueled all day long.

In addition to standard fare like hamburgers, hot dogs and nachos, a few other menu items will satisfy the foodies in the crowd as well. For example, the flatbread with chicken, bacon and a white sauce is quite tasty.

Showing another food trend at Disney Parks, the plant-based brat is a must try. The juicy, flavorful plant-based brat is definitely a highlight. And, it could make that big carnivore change his mindset about plant-based food.

For a little lighter fare, the lettuce wraps are a delightful small bite. The bright citrus notes make this dish quite refreshing. Plus, you will feel good about eating a few more veggies by enjoying this lettuce wrap.

Lastly the chicken sandwich on the menu could make you re-think your favorite chicken sandwich offering. The briny pickle in contrast to the honey butter makes for the perfect bite. In a sea of similar chicken sandwiches, this Disney offering stands out.

Of course, adults might like to have a beverage to sip while the kids splash the day away. Luckily, the Polar Pub has a wide array of cocktails, beer and wine. From the Blue Blizzard Margarita to the Banana Cabana, these cocktails are a tropical getaway in a glass.

It is time to jump back into the water because Blizzard Beach has the water at a constant 80 degrees. Even those Disney Parks Imagineers have made a winter wonderland come to life, the fun in the sun will have everyone ready to enjoy that first splash.

For opening hours of Blizzard Beach and admission prices, please contact Disney Parks. All guests must adhere to health and safety protocols while in attendance.
