7-Eleven always offers the convenience that consumers crave and now it makes Fish Friday even easier. With the addition of the Wild Alaskan Pollock Fish Bites, consumers have a new food to pair with that Big Gulp. What are you having for lunch?

A new limited-edition offering from 7-Eleven, the Wild Alaskan Pollock Fish Bite are served on a skewer with a side of tartar sauce. The herb panko crusted Alaskan pollock is flaky white fish that works well with the simple coating.

The Fish Friday deal offers these fish bites for just $3. The offer is available via the 7Rewards loyalty program. The food offering is available while supplies last.

This new offering follows last year’s success of its fish sandwich. According to 7-Eleven, the fish sandwich was “one of the most popular hot foods” of the past year. These new fish bites take the same flavors from the sandwich yet offer the fish in a bite sized bite.

Anjuli Wilkie, 7-Eleven senior category manager of hot food, “Because we’re all about convenience and offering delicious, easy-to-eat food, Fish Bites is the perfect grab-and-go option.”

This food item shows that 7-Eleven continues to evolve its offerings. Beyond that grab and go item after stopping to get gas, these types of food options fit into the delivery options as well as provide consumers variety. Given that consumers are drawn to the one stop shopping, 7-Eleven could continue to expand its choices to embrace other food trends.

Since those fish bites are best enjoyed with a refreshing beverage, 7-Eleven is giving back with purchases of large Big Gulp fountain drink, Slurpee drink or cup of coffee. Now through April 27, each purchase of those beverages will trigger a donation to the Feeding America member food banks. Plus, consumers can round up a purchase, with the extra funds donated to Feeding America. The donations will benefit food banks in the local communities.
