From furry friends to a great hopper, the new contenders to be Cadbury Clucking Bunny are asking for your vote. With the finalists announced for this year’s Cadbury Bunny Tryouts, the iconic Easter candy commercial contenders have straightened their bunny ears and are ready for their close-up. Have you voted yet?

With the help of last year’s winner Lt. Dan, 10 finalists are vying for the coveted role. Now through March 17, everyone can vote for their favorite contender. From adorable dogs to even an alpaca, these favorite pets will make this year’s Easter celebration paw-fection.

For this year’s promotion, Cadbury received over “12,000 entries nationwide.” While only 10 entries could be finalists, everyone had big personality and wore their bunny ears well.

According to Trevor Jakubek, Senior Associate Brand Manager, Cadbury Brand team “The Cadbury Bunny Tryouts saw a record number of entries thanks to the pet paw-rents showing off their beloved pets that have been so important to them during the past year’s circumstances.”

Who could be the new Cadbury Clucking Bunny?

While FoodSided does not want to influence anyone’s votes, this year’s group is diverse. From Blondi the mini horse to Wayland the Alapca and Peppa the cat to Dog the dwarf goat, just scrolling through the voting gallery will definitely bring a smile to your face. More importantly, the stories show how four-legged family member brings joy to their “paw-rents.”

Although the finalist will be part of candy infamy, the annual event helps pets around the nation. With a $15,000 donation to The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the money will help vulnerable animals. It is the third year that Cadbury donated to this cause.
