Pepsi Mango is ready to make the perfect match on this reality TV show
Sometimes the best pairing might not be the expected one. Pepsi Mango has taken beverage fans by surprise. The newest permanent beverage flavor added to the Pepsi brand offers a tropical, fruity twist to the classic cola. From the aroma as the beverage is poured till that last sip, the reality is that the flavor combination is quite enjoyable even if the combination was slightly unexpected.
In a recent announcement, the beverage brand is partnering with MTV on a new show, Match Me If You Can. The digital reality TV show asks the question “what if your favorite stars from across the reality TV universe were mixed up together for a chance to find their surprising perfect match?” Whether that swipe is the perfect match or there needs to be a re-do, the truth is sometimes the best match can be unexpected.
The new reality TV show brings together some well-known personalities, including Ashley Brooke Mitchell, Eric Bigger, Harry Jowsey, Onyeka Ehie, Natalie Negrotti, Kyra Green, Joey Sasso and Kylie Smith. Hosted by Lauren Speed Hamilton, it will be interesting to see if that unexpected match flourishes in this new series.
According to Todd Kaplan, Vice President of Marketing of Pepsi, “With the explosion of reality dating shows and online dating apps, it’s clear people are continuing to look for new and different ways to find their perfect match. With the launch of Pepsi Mango, we also know that sometimes a perfect match can be quite surprising.”
This newest collaboration seems to continue a story for Pepsi. Earlier this year, the brand collaborated with Cherries Wild on that television show. In many ways, it shows that food and beverages seamless fits into the pop culture space. Beyond food fashion and fandoms, those flavor cravings influence all aspects of people’s lives and maybe even loves.
The new reality TV show, Match Me If You Can debuts during the finale of The Challenge: Double Agents on April 21 at 8 p.m. ET. Other episodes will debut on YouTube each Wednesday.
