The summer cooler just got a beverage upgrade with the new White Claw Hard Seltzer Surge. While the classic White Claw is always a refreshing choice, this new higher ABV option deserves a second, third and more sip. Ready to crack open a can?
While White Claw might be the leader in the hard seltzer beverage space, the beverage brand appreciates that it must continually look forward. Even as its loyal fans keep the cans stacked in their refrigerator, new options need to sit side by side to classic flavors like black cherry.
According to John Shea, Chief Marketing Officer White Claw Hard Seltzer, “White Claw has experienced tremendous growth and consumers have insatiable appetite for new products. So, for us it was a simple decision to give fans new options they crave with the same great tasting flavor profile we know they love from White Claw.”
With the new White Claw Hard Seltzer Surge, drinkers have a higher alcohol content option. With an 8% alcohol level, this beverage is more like a sippable option. Similar to a higher ABV beer, it is more like a beverage to be savored versus a sessionable option.
Sold in a 16 oz can, the serving size makes it more like a single beverage choice. From that day at the beach to the backyard barbecue, the White Claw Hard Seltzer Surge makes it easy to enjoy almost anywhere. One can sipping at its best.
Available in two flavors, Blood Orange and Cranberry, the flavors have a broad appeal. While still delivering the fruit flavors that fans crave, this option seems to lend itself to both food pairings as well as drinking enjoyment. From being slightly tart to totally refreshing, many people will want to try these two new beverage options.
Summer brings a new variety pack in addition to White Claw Hard Seltzer Surge
Since many White Claw drinkers like flavor options, the new Variety Pack Flavor Collection No 3 is here. In response to fans’ requests, the new variety pack features three new flavors, Strawberry, Pineapple and Blackberry. In addition, fan favorite flavor Mango rounds out the variety pack options.
Previously, White Claw’s variety pack options were quite well received. While many people have a preferred flavor, the variety packs allow people to sample all the options. Sometimes, it is important to step outside of the same flavors over and over again.
As the number one hard seltzer brand, White Claw tends to start the trends for the beverage category. From the flavor varieties to a higher alcohol content, it will be interesting to see how other brands respond to these new options. The hard seltzer space is getting crowded and it is getting more difficult to stand out on the shelf.
The new White Claw Hard Seltzer Surge and Variety Pack No. 3 will be available for summer. Check with the brand’s website and participating retailers for availability.
