TikTok is at it again. From the Breakfast Tortilla Wrap, the Nature’s Cereal, the Baked Feta Pasta, the Honeycomb Pasta, to now, the “Twisted Bacon!” Forever grateful to TikTok for teaching us the latest and greatest because now we’re all mini chefs in our kitchens.

What is the TikTok Twisted Bacon Recipe?Clearly a recipe for success. The Twisted Bacon hack apparently will give you the crispiest and chewiest bacon without having to use a frying pan. Not sure many of us use a frying pan anymore since the air fryer has claimed the new kitchen gadget essential title. But anyway, here’s what you have to try!

You’ll want to first grab a baking tray and line it with foil paper. Then, you’ll pull out a baking cooling rack and simply place it on top of the lined baking tray. The point of the cooling rack is to help the heat circulate faster.

Next, get your bacon. According to Good Morning America, you’ll take the raw bacon and twist it upward so it looks like a straw.

Be sure to not wrap the bacon around in itself or else it will defeat the whole recipe hack. Also based on user videos from TikTok, you’ll need to make these twists pretty small, one after the other so it looks like the below in the end result.

After you’ve filled your cooling rack with the twisted bacon, pop the tray in the oven at about 375°F for 25-30 minutes. Fair warning, some TikTok users increased their temperatures to 400°F and increased their timing to 40 minutes. To me, this means the timing and heat depends on your oven and if you prefer a crispy bacon or a chewy bacon.

Once you’ve cooked the bacon to your liking, you have to let it cool off and then you can eat it as is! Some TikTok users cut the twisted bacon into smaller pieces and use it as a topping for salads, but hey, wonder if IHOP will start to use this hack for their new bacon inspired menu!

Either way, we love bacon and we love TikTok!
