A food battle awaits with the Flamin Hot Faceoff. With Doritos prepared to battle Cheetos in this epic food faceoff, snack fans are excited to see which brand reigns supreme. Both Doritos and Cheetos are iconic snacks. While there are many  varieties on the shelf, the two snacks are always looking to push the flavor envelope. Two extreme flavors ready to go head to head in a fan  vote. Although the battle might be between the two brands, some foodies are ready to summon the courage to brave these flavors and make the difficult decision.

Stacy Taffet, VP of marketing, Frito-Lay North America., said, “We’ve seen fans of Doritos and Cheetos debate and advocate for their favorite snacks for years, and now it’s taken on a life of its own on social media. So, we wanted to fan the flames with a playful Frito-Lay family competition to really see which snack is tops. Obviously, I can’t pick a side, but I’m fairly certain everyone will win in this competition.”

To kick off this epic food battle, two new snacks are stepping into the ring. The Doritos Xxtra Flamin’ Hot Nacho is a new offering. While there has been a Doritos Flamin’ Hot Nacho, this new version is even spicier. Although the heat level is higher, it is still enjoyable. But, if you need to tame the flame, consider enjoying these chips with a side of guacamole.

While Flamin’ Hot Cheetos is a classic, Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Spicy Pepper Puffs are making their triumphant return. For anyone who loves that light, airy crunch yet still wants the bold flavor, the return of this snack is magic to their ears. Just remember, that Cheetle still happens with the puffs.

Picking winner is not an easy task. Truthfully, the winner might be a creation of the ultimate flamin’ hot snack mix where the snack bowl has half Doritos and half Cheetos. That idea might have bipartisan support.
